Hi, I am Alex
I am a photographer working within the spaces of street and documentary imagery.
My work is grounded in observation — the slow act of watching a city breathe. I’m drawn to the moments that most people overlook: a brief exchange of glances, a shadow on concrete, the quiet rhythm between footsteps.
Photography, for me, isn’t about capturing perfection. It’s about presence — the silence before a gesture, the texture of ordinary light, the stories that live in stillness. Each image is an attempt to listen to the world rather than to frame it.
I’m less interested in grand narratives than in the small fragments that reveal how people inhabit a place. My photographs often explore themes of distance, intimacy, and the poetry of the everyday.
My work has been exhibited in independent galleries and festivals such as:
- Peripheral Visions Festival (Copenhagen)
- Underpasses & Overlooks (Budapest)
- The Night Archive (Hamburg)
- Framewalk Documentary Festival (Berlin)
- Lumen Streets (Lisbon)
Outside of personal projects, I also collaborate on editorial and visual documentary commissions, always searching for that thin line where clarity meets emotion.
